Prerna Classes under its corporate social responsibilities runs a free course “UDGAU” for Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Financially weak students since 2012. It’s a free course for a duration of one month. The course tries to strengthen the basic understanding of Physics, Maths and Chemistry for those students who want to pursue science at the intermediate level.
The Course is only for the students who have appeared for their class X board examination in 2017. This year the course started on 10th April 2017 and ended on Friday, 12th May 2017.
The certificate distribution and closing ceremony were held on Friday, 12th May 2017 at 11.45 am in Prerna Tower. Mr Mukesh Prasad, Head, TQM, Tata Steel was the chief guest.
A total students of 26 participated in the program. Students were handed over certificates and gifts for completion of the course. Mr Pramod Dubey, the Director, spoke about the initiatives taken by Prerna Classes under its CSR for the SC, ST and other financially weak students.
